Week 10 + 11: Wireframes

In the past two weeks, we are continuing to research and refining our solution. We are trying to define every last detail, using brainstorming, market research, using the mentors' advice and remembering the key values we wanted to implement.

Our solution includes an app that the seniors can "post" a request they have, and after a short time, a volunteer will contact them and schedule a meeting to solve their issue.

After some thinking, those are the first wireframes we came up with:

The first (from left to right, top to bottom) is the screen both sides see - the elderly and the volunteers. They need to choose who they are.

Then, the senior has to choose a domain he wishes to get help with. After he chooses one, the app is searching for a nearby volunteer that can contact him.

After a match has found, details as to the volunteer appear, including name, profession, and distance.

After showing the wireframes in class to the mentors, we had some conclusions concerning the wireframes:

1. We want to develop two different apps - one for the elderly, and one for the volunteers, instead of one for both sides.

2. Maybe it is useless to choose a domain, and the main issues of the elderly we want to help with are technological by definition.

3. It is better not to show the map that searches the volunteer, as it can be frustrating if one is not found in seconds.

4. Short copy
